Trailer for Marvel’s Agent Carter reminds you Marvel has new TV shows, too

Even after the leak of the Age Of Ultron trailer, Marvel’s announcement of movies for the next five years of your life, the revised Age Of Ultron trailer, Marvel is still far—so very, very far—from being done with you. Last night also saw the debut of a new trailer for Agent Carter, one that reminds you that, even before its female Captain Marvel movie, the Marvel universe has always had heroic women, raring to go.

“Sometimes the best man for the job is a woman,” this brief trailer announces over a shot of said woman’s legs as she gets dressed. Although, since they don’t show her face, it’s possible it’s actually Dominic Cooper, and the first storyline involves Howard Stark inventing drag. It’s only after she’s properly dolled up that she’s confirmed to be Hayley Atwell’s Agent Carter, ready for 1940s action.

Agent Carter is scheduled to air as a limited series in January 2015, taking over the Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. Tuesday night slot. More Marvel news and trailers are scheduled whenever Marvel thinks you may be shifting your attention elsewhere.
