“Nothing resonates like rhinoceros foreskin” is one of several things we learned from the Mozart In The Jungle season two trailer. We also see that last season’s intimate moment between Rodrigo (Gael García Bernal) and Hailey (Lola Kirke) is something they’re not quite ready to address, despite running off to Mexico together. And it looks like the musicians are preparing to strike, with Gretchen Mol joining the cast as a union organizer who falls for Cynthia (Saffron Burrows). Thomas (Malcolm McDowell) has some words of (un)solicited advice for Rodrigo, and Jason Schwartzman pops up to talk about his highly sensitive instrument, among other things. How’s that for an overture?
The complete second season of Mozart In The Jungle will be available on Amazon Prime on December 30.
