Here’s what’s happening in the world of television for Monday, July 2. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

Steven Universe (Cartoon Network, 7:30 p.m.): It’s been almost two months since “Can’t Go Back” and “A Single Pale Rose” aired, which is roughly the amount of time we needed to recover from that stunning revelation about Rose Quartz. Conversely, after learning Pink Diamond’s true identity, we couldn’t wait to find out how the rest of the Crystal Gems would react. Thankfully, a new Steven Bomb, titled “Heart Of The Crystal Gems,” awaits us, starting with tonight’s “Now We’re Only Falling Apart.” As you can see in this preview, the truth will literally tear Garnet apart, but nothing will keep Eric Thurm from reviewing the first of five new episodes.

Regular coverage

Wild card

Tron (Showtime, 1:55 p.m.): Watching Ready Player One recently just made us want to watch Tron again.
