Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, February 23. All times are Eastern.
Sleepy Hollow (Fox, 9 p.m.): Together, Abbie and Ichabod have to rewrite history in order to save the world. Yep, it’s the season-two finale of Sleepy Hollow and things are as batshit as ever. Last week’s “Awakening” had our Sleepy Hollow correspondent Zack Handlen looking forward to what’s happening next, so let’s see how the show deals with sending Abbie into the past in this finale.
The Voice (NBC, 8 p.m.): The Voice kicks off its eighth season tonight with the blind auditions. The coaches (not judges, never judges)—Adam Levine, Blake Shelton, Christina Aguilera, and Pharrell Williams—get things started with a cover of Lenny Kravitz’s “Are You Gonna Go My Way.” This year’s contestants sure hope things are gonna go their way, as they rely on their voices and their voices alone to stand out.
WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.): Good news for pro-wrestling fans! Starting tonight, LaToya Ferguson will be reviewing WWE Monday Night Raw for TV Club.
Gotham (Fox, 8 p.m.)
Star Wars Rebels (Disney XD, 9 p.m.)
Better Call Saul (AMC, 10 p.m.)
Elsewhere in TV Club
Jane The Virgin might be taking a break, but Jaime Camil, who plays the always delightful Rogelio, sat down to answer 11 questions. Then check out the latest TV Club 10, which honors this week’s conclusion of Parks And Recreation with the 10 episodes that best represent this charming series.
What else is on?
The Bachelor (ABC, 8 p.m.): Chris takes the final three bachelorettes to Bali. Secrets are revealed! Tears are shed! But true love still has one more episode to go.
The World Dog Awards (The CW, 8 p.m.): George Lopez hosts the very first World Dog Awards show, which recognizes the talents of Hollywood’s film and TV dogs. No really. That’s what this is. You’ll note that this is airing on The CW during the usual timeslot for The Originals and Jane The Virgin, which don’t return to the Monday night lineup until March 9. Monday TV is oh so bleak without Jane. We’re not coping well.
Castle (ABC, 10 p.m.): Tonight, Castle goes to space! Sort of. When an astronaut is inexplicably killed in a sealed simulation chamber, Castle and Beckett have to figure out how it happened. If Fox Mulder were around, now would be the moment when he peeks his head around a corner to shout “IT WAS THE ALIENS!”
Chasing Life (ABC Family, 9 p.m.): Sara has a secret admirer! April’s in trouble at work! Emma’s being shady about her high-school reunion! Everyone’s just living and chasing their lives.
A Cinderella Story (Disney, 8 p.m.): Hilary Duff straight up can only play Lizzie McGuire, but she tries her hardest in A Cinderella Story, opposite her co-star Chad Michael Murray. If you’ve been disappointed with his wooden performance in Agent Carter, you will discover that his performance here is… just as wooden.
Magic Mike (Oxygen, 8 p.m.): Be honest: How many times have you watched the Magic Mike XXL trailer? Have you watched it enough times that “Pony” now gets stuck in your head every time you’re trying to weld? Take a break from the trailer to watch the movie where it all began.
Women’s Basketball: Louisville at Notre Dame (ESPN, 7 p.m.): In Big East play, Notre Dame has won the past seven meetings with Louisville, who hope to break the streak.
