Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Tuesday, March 28. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

New Girl (Fox, 8 p.m.): New Girl—which may or may not be ending very soon—is offering up a reason for even lapsed fans to tune in tonight. According to a teaser, it seems the show is gearing up to finally tell us what Schmidt’s first name is. “Worst name in the entire history of names,” he says. The bar is set very high. The episode also features a guest appearance from Rob Reiner as Jess continues to stay with her dad in Portland and the series continues its Nick-Reagan-Jess triangle. Emily L. Stephens will weigh on the latest developments.

Regular coverage

DC’s Legends Of Tomorrow (The CW, 9 p.m.)
Trial & Error (NBC, 9 p.m.)
The Americans (FX, 10 p.m.)

Wild card

Bones (Fox, 9 p.m.): After more than 10 years and over 200 episodes, Bones is finally coming to an end. Make like Billy Eichner and say farewell by watching the finale and seeing how the saga of Temperance Brennan and Seeley Booth comes to an end.
