Here’s what’s up in the world of TV for Monday, May 11. All times are Eastern.

Top pick

Jane The Virgin (The CW, 9 p.m.): Considering all that has happened in Jane’s freshman season, the Latin Lover Narrator is going to have to talk at lightning speed to get us all caught up at the top of tonight’s finale. If the past several weeks have been any indication, this finale will be brimming with fun and emotions and hopefully a Ro/Xo number or two. And, of course, a baby is coming! Jane has had a truly wonderful first season that was full of surprises—the best of all being Golden Globe-winner Gina Rodriguez, who is delightful as every iteration of Jane (pool Jane/pedals Jane/flashback Jane/dancing Jane/wrestler Jane etc.). Hopefully the show will make a dramatic exit that would make Rogelio proud. Oliver Sava certainly hopes so! Check back at TV Club for his review of the finale as well as Noel Murray’s comprehensive review of the show’s first season.

Also noted

The Originals (The CW, 8 p.m.): Season two of The Originals comes to a close, and the siblings are fighting! Sounds like old times! People will probably die! Or bodyswap! Promises will definitely be broken!

Regular coverage

Bates Motel (A&E, 9 p.m.)

RuPaul’s Drag Race (Logo, 9 p.m.)

WWE Monday Night Raw (USA, 8 p.m.)

What else is on?

The Voice (NBC, 8 p.m.): It’s the semifinal! The top five are performing, and the end is near!

The Following (Fox, 9 p.m.): The Following won’t be returning for a new season, but it still needs to finish out this one. Tonight, “events take a turn and Ryan faces a decision that could impact his future.” Sounds more cryptic than one of Joe Carroll’s nonsense monologues.

Stalker (CBS, 9 p.m.): Stalker also won’t be returning for another season, but there are still people to be stalked. Much like Ryan Hardy, Beth is apparently making a major decision about her future tonight.

Castle (ABC, 10 p.m.): It’s the seventh-season finale of Castle, and Castle is having memories of his childhood. And Beckett apparently reaches a turning point in her life. Dang, there are a lot of major character turning points happening on television tonight. It’s almost like it’s finale week or something.

Friday Night Lights (IFC, 5:15): Friday Night Lights the movie is very different from Friday Night Lights the show, but they both have Connie Britton and football…and that’s pretty much where the similarities end.

Star Trek (FX, 8 p.m.): J.J. Abrams wanted to make such a big Star Trek movie that he decided to have two Spocks instead of just one. Try not to think too hard about all the illogical inconsistencies that this movie’s time-travel aspects create.
