In Netflix’s BoJack Horseman, Will Arnett plays a guy (horse) who lives in California and is trying to get back on his feet (hooves) by untangling the complicated mess of lies and bullshit with which he has surrounded himself. Also, he’s in love with a woman who is romantically tied to his friend (a dog).

In Netflix’s Flaked, Will Arnett plays a guy (human) who lives in California and is trying to get back on his feet (feet) by untangling the complicated mess of lies and bullshit with which he has surrounded himself. The shows sound a little similar in theory, but this trailer for Flaked makes it clear just how different the two shows are. For one thing, Flaked isn’t an animated comedy where some of the people are animals. Also, while it’s billed as a comedy, it looks like it skews even further toward drama than BoJack does. This is just a trailer, though, so maybe Netflix is saving some of the talking animal people for the actual show.

Flaked will premiere on Netflix on March 11.
