Have you ever considered the socioeconomic complexities of the cat world? How about the social anxiety minefield that is an urban off-leash dog park? The awkwardness of pigeon mating? The production peculiarities of rodent podcasts? If not, you will soon. Based on this trailer, Mark and Jay Duplass’ new animated series Animals looks like it will delve into all of these topics as it examines the mundanities of everyday life for big-city animals. The show is produced by the Duplass Brothers and created by Phil Matarese and Mike Luciano, and features the vocal talents of Marc Maron, Rob Corddry, Ellie Kemper, Eric Andre, Matt Walsh, Adam Scott, Lauren Lapkus, and just about every other comedian with a high internet cool rating.

Executives from the premium cable channel, which fostered a successful working relationship with Duplass production team through the critically lauded, live-action, human-based series Togetherness, were apparently so taken with the show after viewing a few episodes at last year’s Sundance festival that they purchased it for two seasons right off the bat. That’s a pretty strong vote of confidence.

Animals debuts February 5 at 11:30 PM ET on HBO.
