Interesting. In my notes, I wrote that Samanthee “is a Juno Temple character.”

Sadly, no.
This comment just made my day. :)
I wondered specifically about the trace evidence that would’ve been left behind in the container. Since Legarski was alone and it seemed like a dead end, would that have been a situation where they needed a warrant to properly check the container? Or am I giving the show too much credit?
Simply based on the way the show has been promoted, I don’t think Jenny was part of the P.I. team. (The show was always described as basically “P.I.s Cody Hoyt and Cassie Dewell... and Cody’s ex-cop, ex-wife Jenny.”) I think she’s just an ex-cop, not an ex-fed though.
Because we start (after Jerrie) with him screwing up tremendously and then continuing to do so, I don’t know that the show has successfully shown that he himself actually has a knack for identifying vulnerable victims. The entire structure that they have is preying on “lot lizards” (I hate that I wrote that), as they… Read more
I think someone called his phone — it could be anyone, it could even be a telemarketer — but like I said, he could have been so deluded he decided it was his mother. Did Legarski see the caller ID?
Legarski reacts like Ronald’s mother’s alive when he talks to him, but would he have any reason to believe Ronald’s mother isn’t alive? Has he met this woman, or does he only know of her through Ronald’s stories? There’s the episode two moment where Ronald smashes his phone in front of Legarski because she’s calling… Read more
10 episodes, somehow.
He lives with his wife who hates him, and now we know of his ex-wife... who apparently likes him enough to give him a heads up about Cassie asking questions.
Solely based on my research, it seems strangely beholden to the source material at parts, but I think the biggest differences (and if anyone here has read The Highway or the entire series of books, please let me know) are the casting and characterization of Cassie, the affair/love triangle, and Helen being Ronald’s… Read more
Like I said, it’s a “twist.”
Apparently, the show was supposed to film in New Mexico and Nevada (so, still not Montana) but moved to Canada because of the pandemic.
I’ve seen the second episode, and I’m excited to talk about the aftermath of JCL’s unhinged decision-making at the end. Read more
“Wow, somehow not dead. Okay. Cool.” That’s my exact note from the CPR scene.
He’s worn that ring the entire series. Since this was supposed to be the final season, “It Never Ends Well For The Chicken” was a “okay, we’ll finally address this too” origin story that also tied into the greater mythology.
No idea, actually — I haven’t been one updating that, but I’ll do it now. Read more
I hope “It’s God time” is His catchphrase.
Maybe even He thought Uriel was a dud.
Linda tried calling him “Amen” once. It didn’t take lol.
